An unexpected appearance.
Imagine Gargitron if he wasn't a chore to get chased by; Gargitron: Redux will attempt to fix that with several new features (and more). Imagine him as a Gargitron REIMAGINED. Multiplayers supported.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS NEXTBOT IS A HEAVY WIP. DONT EXPECT IT TO BE PERFECT.
NOTE: I RECOMMEND YOU GO IN BLINDLY TO SEE HOW THIS NEXTBOT WORKS. DONT READ BELOW THIS IF YOU DARE.
This nextbot has a control panel in the spawn menu so that you could customize it to your liking. Go to "Noob_God - Gargitron Redux - Control Panel - GTR (not the car lol)".
Below is a brief explanation of how this nextbot works and all its new features. The "Help - GTR" menu tells you a lot more than this.
Taunt - Before a chase, Gargitron plays a voice line for 5-6 seconds as a warning. Then the chase begins.
Adaption (Player Profiling) - Gargitron actually learns from you. He tracks your average speed, your favored movement directions, and how far away you tend to be when you first spot him - all fading and updating naturally over time.
Predictive Pathing - He doesn't path to where you ARE anymore. He predicts where you're GOING, factoring in your velocity, your acceleration, and your habitual movement patterns.
Juke & Panic Detection - Scrambling and sudden direction changes get noticed. Gargitron will realize when you're panicking and adjust accordingly instead of blindly chasing a straight line.
Bhop Detection - Bunny-hopping doesn't go unnoticed either. Chain enough jumps and he'll get more aggressive in response.
Route Habits - He remembers the actual paths you take during chases, not just where they ended. If you keep taking the same routes, he'll stop following behind you and start waiting ahead.
Corner & Obstacle Habits - Walls, dead ends, doors, props. He learns what you usually do when something blocks your way and plans around it.
Safe Zones - Keep running back to the same spot when he gets close, and he'll start to suspect you feel safe there. He might even check it without ever seeing you go.
Chase Fatigue - He learns how your movement changes the longer a chase goes on, and adjusts how much he trusts his own guesses.
Reaction Time - He times how long it takes you to react after he shows up. Slow reactors get a bolder Gargitron. Quick ones get a more careful one.
Juke Spots & Reversals - He learns WHERE you juke and how often you turn around mid-chase, and gets suspicious around those places.
Confidence - How you act around him matters. Walk toward him and he notices. Run from him and he notices that too. Shoot him and he'll remember it.
He Learns From Himself - Gargitron also keeps track of which of his own tactics work on you. If one keeps failing, he switches to another. Change your habits on purpose, and he'll catch on and change too.
Speed Adjustment - His chase acceleration is randomized every time, then further boosted based on what he's learned about you. Repeating the same tricks gets riskier, not safer.
Stalk Wariness - If you tend to notice him from far away, he'll learn to approach slower and more carefully next time.
Escape Memory - He remembers roughly WHERE your chases have ended before, not just which way you ran. Relying on the same escape route makes it progressively more dangerous.
Radios - Gargitron independently spawns radios wherever he happens to be, completely at random. Get too close, and they'll blare a loud alert, sending him barreling toward it at high speed - a nasty surprise in maps with tight corners.
Silence During Chase - After some time chasing you, he'll go quiet. Undetectable and still coming.
Random Chase Durations - Chases last anywhere from 20 seconds to a full minute. No two are the same.
Ambush - Just like Terminus, Gargitron can lie in wait. A different sprite, dead silent, and if he spots you, an instant chase with zero warning.
Creep - Sometimes he goes completely silent and slowly creeps toward you. If he reaches you, you're dead. Look at him, and he'll run away... usually.
Enraged - Look at him while he's creeping and there's a chance he'll scream and come after you at a speed you won't outrun.
