Chino Custom

A Benny's-style lowrider for Garry's Mod, built on the Glide vehicle base. Working hydraulics on all four corners, opening doors, hood and trunk, 19 bodygroups of bolt-on parts, 10 liveries and 21 swappable materials.

Ported from Grand Theft Auto V.

Requires

Glide - Styled's Vehicle Base. The car will not appear without it. Nothing else: no CSS, no extra content packs.

Spawn menu -> Vehicles -> GTAV-FRITAS -> Chino Custom

Controls

All rebindable. Defaults:

• Numpad + / - raise / lower the ride height
• X hop, slams all four corners up
• Numpad 8 / 2 / 4 / 6 lift front / rear / left / right
• [ ] \ open the doors, the hood, the trunk

A hydraulic gauge shows the four corners while you drive. Driver's seat only.

Key binding menu

Console chino2_hydraulics, or the Glide config, or Options -> Glide -> Chino Custom. Ten actions, a key binder and a Default button for each. Bindings are saved in your Glide config and show up in Glide's own Keyboard tab.

The same panel carries three super-admin sliders: lowest ride height, highest ride height, ram speed. They apply straight away to cars already spawned.

Tuning menu

Look at a car or sit in one, then console chino2_tuning, or Options -> Glide -> Benny's -- tuning.

• Trunk setup, 6 hydraulic pump layouts

• Upholstery and door cards 3, trunk tanks 3

Changes apply instantly and are visible to everyone on the server. You can tune a car you spawned; admins can tune any car.

Paint

The Colour tool paints the bodywork, hood, doors and trunk like any Glide vehicle. Chrome, glass, the white interior and the whitewall tyres keep their own colours. Liveries sit on the paint and take its tint, so the same livery reads dark on a black car and bright on a white one.

Notes

• The hydraulics push the body against the ground. A frozen car cannot move on
• its rams.
• Two seats. The driver gets the hydraulics and the body controls.
• The brake discs are a separate model driven by Lua: they steer with the
• wheels and follow the suspension, but never spin.
• Mass, gearing and suspension travel come from the game's own handling data,
• not from estimates.
