The Ceph Pinger from Crysis 2: a fast, agile three-legged walker with twin plasma cannons and an EMP ping that shuts down every vehicle around it. Drive it yourself or spawn the [AI] version and let it hunt on its own.

Requires LVS Base.

Features

• Three-legged walking with inverse kinematics: the feet adapt to slopes and steps, the body sways and leans, the head and mask move on their own.
• Fast and agile: sprint, strafe and quick side dodges.
• Twin plasma cannons: rapid blue plasma bolts that burst into energy, sparks and dust.
• Charged plasma: a heavy orange shot that hits hard and wrecks vehicles.
• EMP ping: a shock wave that damages everything around it and shuts down LVS vehicles for a few seconds. Engines die, aircraft fall and weapons stop working.
• Roar: the front mask slides open and the whole walker shudders.
• Ceph vision: a red view in which people and vehicles glow.
• Crysis 2 style red HUD with a compass, reticle, charge ring and weapon panel.
• Destruction: sparks and smoke on damage, an overload before death, an explosion of red sparks and a ragdoll wreck that falls to the ground.
• Idle life: it looks around, shifts its feet and crouches when it stands still.
• Footsteps for every surface, dust and faint claw prints on soft ground, camera shake.

AI

• Finds its way around walls and obstacles and uses the navmesh when the map has one.
• Scares players before it fights: it stalks, roars, bluff charges and fires warning shots. Players who run away are left alone.
• Fights hard once provoked: it circles its target, fires in bursts, dodges, uses the ping against vehicles and groups and pulls back to cover when badly hurt.
• Sees and hears its targets, searches for them when they hide and calls other pingers for help.

Utilities - Ceph Pinger: health, damage, speed, ping radius and cooldown, EMP duration, AI behaviour, HUD and screen effects.
