EDIT(2025-12-03):

So... this playermodel has a lot of problems, and I would NOT recommend using it. While I'm grateful people got some enjoyment out of it, I'm a bit surprised people are still subscribing to it today.

In retrospect, it has a lot of issues: - No proper hitboxes configured. Meaning he can't take headshot damage, or reduced damage when hit in the limbs. - The hand models were made from scratch, and were NOT from the game. I was an amateur at modeling when I made them, so they're not that great, and have a mismatched style. - The model is heavily distorted to fit the Half-Life 2 rig, and again, was done when I was fairly new to 3D modeling. - And a personal niptick, it uses the PS2 textures, instead of the HD Collection textures.

If anyone wants to make a better version of a MGS2 Snake player model, be my guest. I wouldn't recommend using this model, because of the above issues. On top of that, it was retrieved from some old obscure GTA mod. I didn't have the means to rip from MGS2 back then. Nowadays, ripping assets from the Metal Gear games is easier than ever. So I'd recommend just doing that instead.

Original description for posterity:

Solid Snake playermodel from Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.

Includes: - Viewmodel arms. - Optional player colour support. - Facepose support. - Bandana jigglebones.

Model originally ripped by badboy_zay.

Metal Gear Solid and it's characters are owned by Konami, and created by Hideo Kojima.
