StormFox 2 is the successor to StormFox applying weather, light and effects to the map. SF2 is created with a focus on asynchronization, letting clients handle the effects.

Warning! This will not work together with StormFox 1.

For better map support, StormFox2 can now utilize the NikNaks library, if installed.

[h1]FAQ and common problems[/h1][list] [*]It lags when the light changes! The map you're playing on most likely doesn't support light_environment. Disable extra light support or choose another map. You can check this in the server settings. [*]I can't open the server settings, controller or use commands! You don't have access. Check your installed adminmod. [*]Rain and other effects lag! Set the FPS-target to what you feel comfortable with in the client settings. The effects scale with it. [*]I don't see rain or particle effects! You have to decrease your FPS-setting. Try 40. [*]Do I need NikNaks? No, it is optional. StormFox 2 uses it automatically if it is installed. The menu has a NikNaks page that shows if it is detected. [*]How do I change the weather? Open the controller, select the weather-% you want and then click on the weather-icon. [*]How do I make it snow? Rain + cold temperature = snow. [*]Do SF1 addons work with SF2? Not unless the creator has updated their mod. [*]Will SF1 addons cause errors with SF2? Highly unlikely. [/list]
