WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 - Player Models

Bring the 2007 roster into Garry's Mod with the original character models and textures.

  • 199 model variants across 78 source character names, including alternate attires, legends and supporting characters.
  • Matching first-person arms and articulated ragdolls.
  • Original body proportions with standard Garry's Mod movement and weapon animations.
  • Moving hair and hanging clothing on models with suitable source bone chains.
  • Original accessories and optional blood overlays as bodygroups where present.
  • Automatic blinking and voice-chat mouth movement on models with a facial rig, plus eye tracking where the original eye geometry supports it.
  • Close-up player-picker portraits using the original RAW, SmackDown and Legends backgrounds.
  • Assigned original-game taunts on all model variants, with animated shadows and original sound effects.
  • Original hand poses and facial taunt tracks where available in the game data.
  • Facial tension when firing, pain reactions, and heavier breathing after sustained running.
  • Gradual sweat on exposed skin, lit by the map, with original sweat particles during heavy exertion.
  • Quiet recovery breathing and short original combat vocal reactions, with separate male and female voice pools.
  • 196 named wrestler NPC variants with original brand portraits, reactive faces, pain sounds, breathing and sweat.
  • Three original paired wrestling moves against standing humanoid NPCs and players: front scoop slam, rear suplex and a side slam from either side.
  • Synchronized attacker/victim motion, original hand poses and timed combat sounds, floor recovery, and ragdolls on lethal impacts.
  • Smooth taunt recovery and a gradual camera return after wrestling.

How to use

Open the player-model selector and look for "SVR 2007". Matching hands are selected automatically. Accessory options are available under bodygroups. Press G while standing still, or type taunt in chat. Movement, jumping or damage cancels the taunt. The console command svr2007_taunt can be bound to another key. Weapons and tools are put away during taunts so the original hand animations can play, then restored afterward. Carried props are released. The first time you use a wrestler, a brief on-screen hint shows the taunt controls. Completed moving taunts leave you at their ending position and blend back into normal play. Walls, other solid objects and unsupported ledges limit the final placement. Cancelled taunts do not move you to the animation's endpoint.

For wrestling, equip a wrestler player model and select the Wrestling weapon under SVR 2007. Primary fire grapples a nearby standing target; your approach selects the move. You can also bind the console command svr2007_wrestle. Slams deal 25 damage at impact by default and respect player damage protection. Find the NPCs under SVR 2007 - RAW, SmackDown and Legends. They pursue nearby players and perform grapples; they also retaliate against NPC attackers. Set svr2007_npc_hostile 0 for retaliation only. Standard Ignore Players and Disable Thinking options are respected.

Taunt audio combines original timed effects with selected original dialogue or ring-announcer calls. Some supporting-character variants have crowd/effects audio only. Combat grunts and breath loops are shared original recordings, not unique dialogue for every wrestler. Exertion affects presentation only; it does not change your movement speed or weapon damage.

Options

Open Options > SVR 2007 > Player Models and untick "Enable my player-model taunts" to disable your taunts, their sounds, G-key/chat/console triggers and the hint. Your model and matching hands remain usable. Client console: svr2007_taunts 0 (1 to enable again). Administrators can untick "Allow player-model taunts on this server", or use svr2007_taunts_enabled 0 in the server console, to disable taunts for everyone. Both options stop an active taunt and restore the weapon and camera. These options keep the installed assets and do not change wrestler NPC behavior. Server console: svr2007_taunt_effects, svr2007_taunt_dialogue, svr2007_reaction_sounds and svr2007_breath_sounds. Set an option to 0 to disable its sounds. Client console: svr2007_sweat 0 disables sweat rendering. Wrestling server options: svr2007_wrestling, svr2007_wrestling_players, svr2007_wrestling_sounds and svr2007_wrestling_damage. Set the first three to 0 to disable wrestling, player targets or its sounds respectively. svr2007_wrestling_damage defaults to 25.

Current scope

This build contains 199 player-model variants, 196 named NPC variants, ragdolls, 49 assigned original taunts and the three directional wrestling moves above. The full original moveset, entrances and arena maps remain in development. Source variants include some low-detail and scene-specific models.

Grapples require nearby standing humanoids at normal model scale and enough open, level ground for the lift and recovery. God-mode players, crouching players, vehicles and obstructed areas are rejected. NPC navigation works best on maps with navigation meshes; direct approaches also work across visible open ground. Multiplayer player targets were tested with a server-controlled player; human-to-human latency and live microphone chat remain untested.

Facial features depend on the original rig: 192 variants support facial animation and 178 have separate eye geometry for gaze. Ten referenced facial clips are absent from the extracted auxiliary bank; available tracks remain in use. Some meshes without teeth use fitted original teeth from another roster model.
