Verticality was a strong element of this map as you descend through multiple basement layers of the complex. We also appreciated the use of changing weather elements as a brewing sandstorm approaches over the duration of the match.
Back in the 80s, Silo 7 was a fully operational nuclear missile silo, and it was abandoned shortly after the Cold War. The nearby city has been nuked, so the atmosphere is less hospitable, but it allowed Horzine to attempt the establishment of an outpost in the abandoned silo area as Zed activity is minimal. All were going according to plan, until a few days ago a report came in indicating a strange activity within lower parts of the bunker. Shortly after that, contact with the team was lost. Investigate the area, assess the situation, and secure the assets.
Overall, the map tries to combine all the best practices utilized by the official developers to provide a near-identical experience to that of an official map.

Big and spacious - plenty of space to run around and shoot Zeds above surface and underground. The map has its traditional KF2 design, leaving no dead ends.
Sandstorm! - randomly, one might find themselves fighting Zeds in a strong and loud sandstorm. Outside senses are limited; inside, the walls of the bunker limit movement. A choice must be made.
Optimization - the map was optimized with combined meshes, proper lights, and distance set for every mesh. Additionally, precomputed visibility volumes were built.
Blocking volumes - this technique always helps players throughout gameplay, making running as smooth as possible and preventing exploits.
Stand Your Ground! - new (at that time) side objectives are also supported!
Please, don't forget to rate this map and give it an award!
