Aim Down Sight Addon [VScript]

Many thanks to NanaNana for made the l4d2-aim-down-sight plugin, and to kouga for let me know about it.

I have never used ADS before, and I can't see the source code, So I don't know how far I can go. If you notice any weird animations, report it with a link to the weapon model so I can test and try to fix it. Read this first if has any problems

Settings, animation list and information in "left4dead2\ems\lxc\ads_base\"

Q: How to make it work? A: Install the ADS models, here are some collections:

Q: Vanilla weapons? A: No, but whereisme[AI] made some. Or you can try Generic Aim Down Sight by Wabisuke.

Q: How to enable ADS? A: Clicking the ZOOM button (middle mouse), holding for a while will activate the long press mode. *Sniper and SG552 need change the keybind to avoid conflicts with default zoom. The latest version supports bind any key. If you are using BUTTON_WALK, it is strongly recommended to switch to the new method. This can solve the problem of stuck on ADS when in walk areas such as THE SACRIFICE hill. First open the settings file and change ActivateButton to 0. Then type bind "anykey" "+ads_switch" in the console. If you are not the host, please modifity the autoexec.cfg file according to the info.txt. To bind a special key, see here. Multi ADS mode: the default key is E. Clicking toggle aim mode, and a long press changes the scope's appearance. Model support is required. Inspect: the default key is R. All buttons can be changed in the settings.

Q: How do I fix the abnormal scopes vision when ads? A: You need to set the Shader to high or higher, or add +mat_motion_blur_enabled 1 to the Launch Options. If you don't want motion blur, also add +mat_motion_blur_percent_of_screen_max 0. If it still doesn't work, check your lower graphics mods.

Q: What is the difference with the plugin? A: Easy to use, just subscribe. Also fixed & adjusted some animations. [olist] [*]Automatically choose the toggle mode or holding mode. [*]Fixed not exit ADS when released the minigun and ladder. [*]Always play the empty reload animation after emptying the magazine (optional). [*]Fixed shove will cancel the reload animation while ADS enabled. [*]Supported magazine-type reloading shotgun. [*]Supported multi ADS mode and scope transform. [*]Supported Lever-action rifles. [*]... [/olist] Unfortunately, there's no way to reduce shotgun pellet scatter when ADS enabled, but all weapons can be equipped with a temporary laser sight to improve accuracy.
