Why?
- Melee weapons have many advantages in combat. They keep the flashlight stationary in the center of the screen, which gives you a better view, and they're very useful against hordes—both of which pistols fail to do.
What does this script do?
- Place the melee weapons in their own slot (Slot 7),
- You can access the melee by scrolling your mouse wheel
- If you set up a cfg, you can assign a specific key binding for melee (recommendation below)
Recommendation
Create an autoexec.cfg file in your cfg folder with the following shortcut to jump straight to the melee battles! You can change the bind to any other one whenever you want. In my case, I use mouse4 (a gaming mouse with extra buttons).
