After 9 years in development hopefully it will be worth the wait.
This version is an improvement from the original, the blood effects no longer uses the water particles (yes, the same water that makes you run like a turtle and the same that makes the blood look awful) Instead all the textures are now from the original L4D1 with some "improvements" in the radius because why not right?
The incap blood pool now has a different texture from hl2 instead of that ketchup that was on the pockets from all survivors
