The 14th difficulty level. An optional challenge that goes beyond Thanatotic

Hell is an optional extreme difficulty, not an original difficulty planned by the author "Iizvullok". It is a community/user idea brought into reality as an experimental mutation beyond Thanatotic (includes a Realism version as well)

Things that have been changed: - survivor permanent health is forced to 1 with no lasting temp health - survivor base speed is extremely low; adrenaline gives only a small boost - first aid kits are removed from maps - special infected limit is 8 with very aggressive spawn pressure - commons and specials are tuned far beyond Thanatotic - tank has 20000 HP and gains speed while on fire - non-headshot damage is heavily reduced - friendly fire is lethal - always black and white - breakable melees and melee fatigue (no chat spam) - gunshots, props, doors, and chat can attract infected - smoker death cloud pressure, spit can destroy nearby cans, RNG SI/Witch models - stronger finale pressure and extra finale tank pressure on major finales - other experimental systems layered on top of the core Hell rules

Hell is optional content. It is not part of the original difficulty ladder design by "Iizvullok"; it is a fan/user concept implemented as a separate extreme mode. Campaign, Versus, and other modes are not affected unless you load this mutation.

This is not the creator's original vision. It is an alternative experiment for players who want to push the limits of what Left 4 Dead 2 can throw at them.

HELL Difficulty 14. Beyond Thanatotic. Almost impossible.
