INSTALLATION

[olist] [*]Subscribe, start Left 4 Dead 2 and wait for add-ons to load.

[*]Go to Add-ons menu and disable any conflicting add-ons. (e.g. other vocalizer or add-ons with radial menus)

[*]Go to Options menu and bind the radial menus to the keys you want. Options → Keyboard/Mouse → Edit Keys/Buttons → Vocalizer Radial Menus [/olist]

HOW TO USE

• [h2]Character-specific menus[/h2]
• Press and hold the key for Character selection menu and choose your current character. After that, you'll be able to use its character-specific menus.
• [h2]Voice lines[/h2]
• Press and hold key for a desired menu, then choose a voice line. All other players will hear what your character is saying.
• [h2]Going idle[/h2]
• Press and hold the key for Character selection menu and choose IDLE.
• [h2]Character switching[/h2]
• First go idle. Then using Character selection menu choose another available character.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

[h2]What is "limited use"[/h2] These voice lines will work only on local servers and dedicated servers where this add-on is installed, and in single player. They CANNOT WORK on official Valve servers! [h2]Miscellaneous menus[/h2] Some voice lines in these menus work only for L4D1 and some only for L4D2 characters. [h2]Some voice lines can't always work[/h2] For some lines to work, certain conditions have to be met (for example, you must not be in fight). Also, many voice lines are not available in Scavenge and Survival. [h2]When can't go idle[/h2] You can't go idle if you are the only player, or if all other players are already idle. [h2]Note on switching characters[/h2] After switching characters, you will need to select your new character again to properly mount all of its character-specific menus. [h2]Vocalizer in Versus and Scavenge on official servers[/h2] All add-ons are disabled when playing competitive modes on official Valve servers. However, you can follow my guide to make the vocalizer work there.
