An upload of an underrated favourite from l4dmaps, which I couldn't find in the Workshop.

A solid campaign with a 28 Weeks Later vibe. Stay ahead of the gas! Excellent story, great voice acting, imaginative interactive events, and the most fun I've had in any finale gauntlet.

"The Military is flooding the city with deadly neurotoxin. Fight your way to the last chopper. On map 3 you can call in airstrikes by picking targets on the map with your 'use' key and using the little radio. If you want to play this alone start it in Singleplayer!!"

ATTENTION SINGLE PLAYERS WITH BOT TEAMMATES

Having trouble with the finale in single-player?

Overkill was originally released in 2011, when playing with human teammates was much more common. Unfortunately, the three AI bots often struggle with the finale and get themselves killed, leaving you to be overwhelmed by a thousand zombies.

If you're playing alone, I recommend enabling God Mode for the finale. This makes you and your bot teammates invincible, allowing you to complete the campaign.

Instructions:

Enable Developer Console under Options > Keyboard/Mouse.

From the main menu, press ~ (above Tab) to open the console.

Enter map gasrun to launch the finale.

Once loaded, enter sv_cheats 1 followed by god 1.

VAC-safe: These are built-in game commands, safe to use locally. No external cheats or modifications are needed.

Note: Enabling cheats disables Steam achievements for that session.
