Since I couldn't find any mods that let you drop weapons or items with a dedicated keypress instead of chat commands (like "!drop"), I made one myself and it works!
Important Setup Note
After subscribing to this addon, you must configure your keybind before playing: [olist] [*] Go to Options > Keyboard/Mouse > Edit Keys/Buttons. [*] Scroll to the Combat section. [*] Find Drop Weapon (unbound by default) and assign your preferred key. [/olist]
Features
- Drop held weapons or items instantly with a single keypress.
- Fully customizable hotkey via the in-game options menu.

Server & Multiplayer Info
- Works in Singleplayer and on Local Servers.
- Local Multiplayer: All players must subscribe to the addon and set their own keybind. If only the host subscribes, only the host will be able to drop items.
Limitations
- You can only drop either your primary or secondary weapon. If you drop your primary weapon, you cannot drop your secondary weapon (and vice versa).
