Create: Deep Dark is an addon for Create that introduces new end-game content inspired by the Deep Dark biome, featuring rare items, resources, and powerful gear to craft using Create’s mechanics!

Features

 New Echo material, obtainable from Echo Shards or by defeating the Warden

 New items, block and fluid, craftable using Create's machines

 Fully trimmable armor set and melee weapon, with special effects

 Special Create recipe for Netherite Ingots, for double the yield

 The Echo Cake, a superior version of the Blaze Cake. Used for Superheating or as a fuel for furnaces and generators from other mods. It will burn for 19 200 ticks (3 times longer than the regular Blaze Cake)

 Many other features and Create interractions to discover!

Echo Equipment

Echo Shards found in Ancient Cities can be mixed to obtain Molten Echo, a new fluid needed for several recipes. You could also try to get Echo Ingots by defeating the Warden, but this might prove to be a more difficult task...

After mixing enough Echo Shards, you'll need to use Create assembly lines to forge your first Echo Ingot:

The Echo Ingot is used to upgrade Netherite gear into even stronger equipment:

Your now-upgraded armor and sword come with special effects:

- The full Echo Armor set grants infinite Resistance II and Strength II bonuses

- The Echo Sword inflicts Weakness II and Darkness II on hit, for 5 seconds (not stackable)

Echo items can be repaired with Echo Ingots in an anvil:

Echo Cake

Start by getting Sculk Flour by crushing any Sculk block from the Deep Dark biome. You'll also get experience from the process as you would by using a hoe, in the form of nuggets. This also opens the door for interesting experience farms...

Then, turn your Sculk Flour and a couple other ingredients into the base for your Echo Cake:

Finally, use the spout to fill your Echo Cake Base and craft your first Echo Cake, a more powerful version of the Blaze Cake:

Other features

While you should not run out of Sculk any time soon after an adventure in the Deep Dark, you might find yourself lacking Echo Shards to craft your precious ingots. Luckily, a Master Cleric will be happy to trade those for a couple Emeralds.

Finally, the mod adds five new advancements to the Adventure category:

Configuration

Some aspects of the mod can be changed in the configuration file.

Dependencies

Only the base Create&nbsp;mod is&nbsp;required for this one to work.

JEI is recommended but not required.

Installation

Add the .jar mod file into your mods&nbsp;folder.

Alternatively, you can browse the Modrinth launcher for the mod (if it doesn't show up, try typing the autor's name). Once found, click "Install" to add it to your modpack.

You are free to include this mod in any modpack, public or private.
