❤️ Heart Mod – Expanded Health & Healing System for Minecraft

Overview

This mod rebalances gameplay by encouraging exploration through collectible Heart Crystals that increase health while adding a base-focused healing system with auto-regeneration turned off, requiring players to be more careful and avoid mistakes.

Key Features

• Dynamic Health Progression

Start with 5 hearts (10 HP). Collect the new item, Heart Crystal. Each Heart Crystal increases your max health by 1 heart (2 HP). You can find them only in naturally generated chests.

• New Structures </br>

Heart Crystals can be found in loot and in newly generated structures - Crystal Shrines.</br>

At a Shrine Altar, you can exchange a Heart Crystal for a permanent effect that lasts until you die or drink milk. </br>

• Bed Healing </br>

Now beds don’t skip the night, but they heal you. While you rest in bed, your HP will gradually increase.

• Penalty System </br>

Your inventory stays after death (keepInventory is true), but you will lose Crystal Hearts. </br>The number of lost Crystal Hearts increases with the size of your health bar:

• Challenge

Auto-regeneration is turned off by default. You need to avoid dangerous situations and/or find ways to manage your healing.

• Achievements

Integrated with Minecraft’s advancements system. Track your healing progress and earn rewards for both Bandages and Heart Crystals.

Crafting Recipes

• Improvised Bandage

Restores 1 heart (+2 HP) but also adds a Slowness effect.</br> (3s to use - +0.667 HP/s)

• Bandage

Restores 1 heart (+2 HP).</br> (1.75s to use - +1.143 HP/s)
</br>

• Enhanced Bandage

Restores 2.5 hearts (+5 HP).</br> (2.5s to use - +2.5 HP/s)
