About obsidian29's Tuff Backport

From Modrinth

Backports tuff blocks from 1.21 experimentals to 1.20.1. Beta.

This mod has been found uploaded elsewhere. I did not give permission for this and am in the process of attempting to get it taken down. Please only download my mods from here on Modrinth; it is the only place I will ever upload them!

October 2026 Update

Tuff Backport now includes explicit compatibility with Vanilla Backport, as well as future versions. If Vanilla Backport is present, Tuff Backport will simply supply tuff tiles, and adding or removing Vanilla Backport is safe at any time, as is updating to later versions of Minecraft.

The exception to this is that tuff tiles, which are exclusively my team's work, will disappear from your world if you remove Tuff Backport.

What is this?

Hello everyone!

I got tired of not having the nice shiny new tuff blocks in 1.20.1 to go with my mod AXAR-Adapt, which has so many different variants of existing vanilla stones, and new stones. I wanted tuff!

So this afternoon I thought, 'what the heck am I waiting for?' and I grabbed the textures from 1.20.6's jar file and my texture artist made a tuff tiles texture to go with it, and we shoved it into a nice brand new mod.

All textures except tuff tiles are original Mojang textures, I'm just borrowing them and make no claim to them. Code, and especially my tuff tiles texture, are ARR.

If you find any of my textures, code, or anything else I made posted anywhere except my own Discord or Modrinth, it is there without my permission. Please let me know if you see this! I can't take responsibility for the safety of downloading them and if someone's willing to take it without my permission, who knows what else they did to it along the way.
