About Player Tracking Compass
From Modrinth🧭 [PvP Mod] Adds a Tracking Compass, which can track the nearest player's location.
Player Tracking Compass is a mod which adds a Tracking Compass, which tracks the nearest player on right click. By default, if the player is within 10 blocks, it will track the next nearest player, which can be changed in the config. This way you can use teams and track new targets when close together. Works separately from the default Minecraft compass.
Sneak + right-clicking the compass binds it to yourself. You can then give it to someone else, and it'll point at you whenever they use it. Players in spectator mode or with the Invisibility effect can't be tracked, so drinking a potion of invisibility is a way to hide from it.
Required on both the server and the client.
The Tracking Compass is a separate item from the normal compass.

minimumTrackingDistanceInBlocks default 10, min 0, max 100000
Players closer than this horizontal distance in blocks are skipped, so the compass points at the next nearest player instead. Useful for teams.
maximumTrackingDistanceInBlocks default 0, min 0, max 100000
Players further away than this horizontal distance in blocks can't be tracked. 0 means there is no limit.
ignorePlayersInSpectatorMode default true
Whether players in spectator mode are skipped by the compass.
ignoreInvisiblePlayers default true
Whether players with the Invisibility effect are skipped by the compass, so drinking a Potion of Invisibility hides you from it.
showTrackedPlayerNameInMessage default true
Whether the chat message after using the compass names the tracked player. When disabled, it only says the compass is pointing at the nearest player.
cooldownInSecondsAfterUse default 0, min 0, max 3600
How many seconds a player has to wait before the Tracking Compass can be used again. 0 disables the cooldown.
compassSpinsWithoutTarget default true
Whether a Tracking Compass that hasn't tracked anyone yet spins. When disabled, it points at the world spawn like a normal compass.

In this case the player Serilum is too close, and nobody else is online, so the tracking compass doesn't work:
You may freely use this mod in any modpack, as long as the download remains hosted within the CurseForge or Modrinth ecosystem.
