Pokemob

A simple and lightweight Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.1 that lets you capture any mob in a ball/orb and release it later, wherever you go.

Perfect for relocating animals across long distances without the hassle of herding, boats, or leads.

Features

  • Capture almost any mob. Sneak + right-click a living entity with the Pokemob Ball to capture it. Works regardless of the mob's own vanilla interaction (taming, sitting, etc.). The ball always takes priority when sneaking.
  • Release anywhere. Sneak + right-click a block to release the captured mob at that location, fully intact.
  • Preserves everything. Health, custom names, and even biome-specific variants (e.g. a warm-biome cow stays a warm-biome cow) survive the round trip.
  • Visual feedback. The ball's texture and item name change to reflect what's inside (e.g. "Pokemob Ball (Bessie the Cow)").
  • One mob at a time. A full ball can't capture a second mob until it's released.
  • Safety limits. Players and the Ender Dragon can't be captured.
