About SRP&Wizardry InsaneTweaks
From ModrinthA bridge mod unifying Electroblob's Wizardry, Scape and run: Parasites and Spartan Weaponry, into my Battlemage late-game fantasy, Custom Gears, Spells, Skills, Bauble Fruits + few other things/tweaks
Overview
A Forge 1.12.2 bridge mod for Electroblob's Wizardry, Ancient Spellcraft, Spartan Weaponry and Scape and Run: Parasites, built around a late-game battlemage that survives in a hardcore pack. Most systems can be switched off in config and most numbers retuned. Every default reproduces the mod's own behaviour, so an untouched config changes nothing.
It works alongside my other mods (SRP&Wiz Core, SRP&WIZ Mixins, Corail Tombstone-Addon, Reskill Tweaks) but does not need any of them.
Updating
- From 1.8.0 or earlier with the Tombstone module: install Corail Tombstone-Addon in the same update. Otherwise the two custom perks lose their registry entries and players' invested levels are lost.
- From 1.12.1 or earlier with Reskillable: install Reskill Tweaks in the same update. Otherwise Reskillable silently drops every unlock it can no longer resolve and does not refund the skill points.
Features
Living and Sentient gear. Craftable Living armour, Aegis, Spellblade and Wand evolve through use into Sentient, then Awakened forms: armour from damage taken, the Aegis from damage blocked, spellblades from kills. Armour reduces spell cost, cooldown and charge-up. A full set grants a hardcap on lethal damage (a brief safety window and a Cleanse burst). Spellblades bridge into Spartan Weaponry properties. All of it survives lava, fire, cactus and explosions.
Advanced properties. Named abilities listed in the tooltip, each switchable in config.
- Ashen Legacy: survives fire, lava, cactus and explosions; lingers an hour on the ground instead of five minutes.
- Fleshbound: cannot be dropped, dragged out of the inventory or disarmed, including by Telekinesis and Disarmament. Severed on death, with a regrow cooldown.
- Arcane Sundering: earned by the Sentient Spellblade at 1900 kills. Splits each hit 80% physical, 10% true, 10% magic by default. True damage ignores armour, Resistance and Protection; magic bypasses armour but is reduced by Resistance and Protection.
- Veil of Stasis and Grave Defiance on the armour line.
Property Books. Add one property to one item on an anvil for 12 levels. Ashen Legacy fits any gear, Fleshbound any weapon. No recipe: /itweaks propertybook <id> [player], intended as quest rewards.
Abomination spells. Custom Wizardry spells, Master tier unless noted. Balance comes from high mana cost, long charge-up and long cooldown, not weak effects.
- Summons: Feral Cow (melee, potency scales damage), Primitive Yelloweye (flying ranged), Primitive Summoner (stationary nest spawning Rupters), Light Bomber (flying bomber, friend-or-foe filtered, no toxic cloud), Wizard (ranged, self-healing), Thrall (see Companions).
- Call of Demise: 1800 mana, 3 s charge-up, 10 min cooldown. Summons exactly one assimilated Beckon as a stationary tower that pulls enemies toward it. Locked to one minion regardless of upgrades.
- Dispatcher Grasp: channelled. Pins a Dispatcher's claw on the target, roots both of you, and executes the target when it drops low enough. Players cannot be executed this way. Costs mana per second.
- Yelloweye Gland: launches the explosive spineball.
- Purifying Pulse: burns nearby SRP parasites and reverts infestation blocks. With the Hourglass of Restoration it also restores infected villagers, animals and pets.
- Cleanse: strips negative and parasite-inflicted effects. Does not strip parasite buffs such as Repel or Rage.
- Parasite Shroud: hides you from primitive strains, or advanced ones at higher potency. Gains duration per worn wizard armour piece; breaks if you attack.
- Immune Bond (Advanced tier): wards one non-player creature against infection and strips COTH. One bond at a time.
Arcane Adaptation. Living and Sentient casting gear makes non-Insane Tweaks spells much more expensive and treats Abomination spells as native. The Adaptation Upgrade lets an ordinary wand channel Abomination spells; stacks to III to soften the penalty on everything else.
Sanctuary Nexus. A craftable block that projects a protective dome against parasites.
- Raised by ritual: place the Nexus and build a flat 5×5 ring of 24 SRP Evolution Lure blocks at its Y level. It tells you in chat which lure strength it needs next. Six offerings take it from Tier I to IV, with radii 16 / 32 / 48 / 64 (upgrades extend it, capped at 256).
- Inside the dome: natural spawns, block infestation, node and colony generation and block breaking by parasites are vetoed. Parasites inside burn, drop nothing and give no XP, and one that stays two minutes is executed. Infested blocks are reverted, hearts inside are purged, the biome is reset, and dead blood is drained and inert.
- Cost: every player inside loses 2.5 hearts of max health, and natural regeneration is suppressed. The Nexus burns Wizardry crystals as fuel; when they run out it drains mana from wands inside, then the owner's health. Four upgrade slots (Efficiency, Owner Relief, Reach, Ascension) reduce the cost; the full set cancels it.
- One Sanctuary per player by default. A Creative Sanctuary block (creative tab, Tier IV, radius 16–256) is included for testing.
Enchantments. Quest-only: never in loot, trades, the enchanting table or mob gear. Hand them out and apply on an anvil.
- Sentient Codex: port of UniqueEnchantments' Grimoire. Raises the level of other enchantments on the item as your XP level grows, about 70% slower than the original; Fortune, Efficiency, Looting and Silk Touch are excluded. The first holder binds to it, anyone else takes void damage every second, and the item can no longer be modified on an anvil.
- Mmmm: food only, port of Ambrosia. Eating fills the hunger bar and grants Nourished, which keeps saturation topped up for a duration that scales with XP level. Enchanted food is ignored by parasite food contamination.
- Swift Picking: shortens the Auto Lock Picker channel by 15% per level, three levels.
