About STE

From Modrinth

A mod that centers around mechanisms and electricity, automate and create as much as you can to gather resources faster, also whit add-ons support!

STE

Brief Explanation

STE is an abbreviation for Spilter's Technological Expansion,a mod that is inspired by two other mods, this mod has a simple way of working and has add-ons support, documentation should be available soon if it isnt alredy,if it is,scroll down, the mod requires JEI for its function as it supports custom recipes (currently only for the press) and has a long way to go,this mod has a directional system and an experimental system activable by doing /gamerule wipFeaturesSTE true or in the create a world gamerule settings (Not needed for newer versions),which means the system works depending on the block direction, this is a brief explanation in case you "ain't reading all that",if you want more, then continue to scroll

Feel free to use STE in your mod packs!

What's planned?

Im planning to add:

  • ~~Belts~~
  • Liquids
  • ~~More Gearboxes~~
  • Gears
  • ~~Stress calculation based on RPM (Done for the new system)~~
  • Stacking of water wheels (One behind another)
  • Changing Models
  • Changing Textures
  • More tiers of things (like the Capacitors)
  • Fan
  • ~~Finishing the new system for V0.1~~
  • And more hehe

Add-ons

You are free to make add-ons for the mod,you can also use MCreator for that (i think),in the documentation there will be a procedure and the code of the procedure that you have to expand to make add-ons,but the functionality will be there, also a list of the mod NBTs and Tags and whats their use Here is the documentation: Docs

Known bugs:

  • Belts that don't get power from the source might bug out (don't ask me why,idk either)
