Developed by Eren_The_Dev, Ultimate Configurable Boats is a lightweight yet powerful NeoForge mod that transforms the standard, clunky boat mechanics into a fully customizable, car-like driving experience. Whether you want a super-fast racing boat or a nimble explorer that can jump over obstacles, this mod has you covered.
🌟 Key Features 🏎️ Precise Speed Scaling (BPS System)
Forget confusing internal units! Set your boat's speed in Blocks Per Second (BPS).
Want to cruise at 20 bps? Easy. Want to break the sound barrier at 1000 bps? Go for it. Proportional Acceleration: Boats no longer "teleport" to top speed. They accelerate and decelerate smoothly using advanced interpolation (Lerp), giving you a realistic "driving" feel. 🔊 Dynamic Engine Sounds
Experience the speed through your ears!
The mod features a high-quality, looping engine sound that dynamic pitch-shifts based on your current velocity. Sound is deep and thick at low speeds and becomes thinner and higher as you accelerate. 🦘 Block-Based Jump Mechanics
Boats don't have to stay in the water!
Jump Height: Set exactly how many blocks high your boat can jump. Jump Cooldown: Prevent spamming with a configurable tick-based cooldown. Perfect for Parkour: Use boats to jump over lily pads, small islands, or even scale mountains. 📊 Speedometer HUD
A clean, minimalist overlay that keeps you informed:
Displays your current speed in BPS (or km/h with the multiplier). Features a dynamic progress bar that scales based on your configured max_speed limit. 💻 In-Game Commands
Configure everything in real-time without ever leaving the game (Permission Level 2 required):
/boat set speed <bps> – Set the target cruise speed. /boat set max_speed <bps> – Adjust the speedometer bar scale and absolute limit. /boat set jump_power <blocks> – Define the jump height in blocks. /boat set acceleration <factor> – Adjust how "snappy" the engine feels (0.001 - 1.0). /boat set inertia <0-1> – Change how long the boat glides after letting go of the gas. 🛠️ Technical Details Loader: NeoForge 1.21.1 Dependencies: None! No extra library mods required. Compatibility: Works with all vanilla boat types.
[!TIP] Pro Tip: Use /boat set speed 50 and /boat set acceleration 0.1 for a high-performance racing feel!
