Turn normal blocks into Light Sources

[IMG] [IMG]

Welcome to VarLight

VarLight is a plugin for Spigot allowing players to turn normal blocks into custom light sources.
Most of the plugins (normal) functionality revolves around the light update item (LUI in short) which is Glowstone Dust by default.

Gameplay

  • Right clicking most blocks with the light update item will increase the luminance (emitting light) by 1.
  • Left clicking custom light sources with the light update item will decrease the luminance by 1.
  • Breaking a custom light source will
    • Drop 1 piece of the configured light update item if neither fortune or silk touch were used
    • Up to n pieces of the configured light update item (where n is the custom luminance of the light source) when broken with fortune. Higher levels of fortune will increase the chances to drop more
    • A glowing variant of the broken block, which can later be placed again as a custom light source if broken with the appropriate silk touch tool.
Configuration

All of the plugins config.yml file is documented here.

Commands
