About Voluminous Energy
Voluminous Energy is a Minecraft Tech mod focused on adding new machines to the game. Focused around the concept of generating energy using a mix of novel ideas and familiar ones. Voluminous Energy, however, doesn't stop at generators, it adds all the machines you'll need to process materials either in the chain of getting liquid or solid fuels or as an alternative/replacement for other tech mods. Voluminous Energy features elements inspired by various mods from previous versions of Minecraft. The Voluminous Energy project aims to provide more energy choices and tech-centric gameplay to modern versions of modded Minecraft.

Oil Geysers: A large source of Crude Oil.

Oil Lakes in 0.5+. With perimeters made of Bitumen.

Underground Oil Reservoirs in 0.5+. Formed as ledges from cave structures, similar to some Aquafir structures.

Crude Oil Reservoirs fit naturally along side Vanilla Lava and Water Aquafirs that use similar ledge-style generation.

Natural Gas Reservoirs are rarer, but hang from the ceiling with an open bottom, due to the gaseous nature of Natural Gas. Added in 0.5+ for 1.21.1+.
Oil Lakes pre-0.5, with a stone surrounding.
Ores
Saltpeter Ore spawns in the Desert, in sand. Along with in the Badlands in Red Sand.
Bauxite, the chief ore of Aluminum. Can rarely provide Titanium through the Electrolyzer.

(Outdated) Old images of Cinnabar and Galena, the chief ores of Mercury (the former), and of Lead and Silver (the latter).

Rutile, the chief ore and primary way to obtain Titanium.
