Horde: Legacy seeks to recreate the classic Horde mode experience as you knew it to be, and loved it.

Born from my unrelenting spite towards the official changes to Horde in Patch 24 (Dec. 2021), along with rife inconsistency, bloat, and baffling design choices that plague the few community-made alternatives, Legacy attempts to establish itself as the spiritual successor to the older iteration(s) of Horde. Furthermore, by modularizing the game mode, Legacy will allow players hosting their own servers to configure the mode to recreate any version of Horde as originally iterated from Mordhau's release in 2019 to the Horde mode overhaul in 2021.

Legacy is the largest and most substantial project I've worked on to date. I consider it the culmination of over a year and a half of learning and experimenting within the Mordhau modding environment, in addition to several more years of modding in other game environments such as TES/Fallout and Half-Life/Garry's Mod. It's also the first mod I've ever developed with a full intention of releasing to the public and continuing to develop and support for all of the foreseeable future. Just be aware that I'm still following a learning curve here. With that said, I sincerely hope you find something in HL that you really enjoy, and that you haven't already found in other Horde mods.
