Quent's custom Horde skill tree

Custom Horde skill tree for all the official maps! Don't forget to go to the Mordhau modding Discord and give me your feedbacks (to @Quenquent).

Summary of the new skill trees

The main goal of the skill tree is to both allow player to diversify their playstyle over multiple playthroughts while also having everyone specialize themselves. Even on a +10 players server, it's easy to have everyone use a unique build with their own weapon choices!

Melee

Pretty close to the base game melee skill tree, but extended to also affect two handers with lesser effects, allowing for both builds based on solely one handers, solely two handers or transistioning from one hander to two handers. You will also decide if you prefer to do strike or stab attacks, with Backstab being now only restricted to one handed stab strikes. If a weapon doesn't have a dedicated skill tree, this one will never fail you. Only Vanish stayed here as an Ultimate skill.

Brute

Skill tree based around two handers and blunt weapons. The two hander path is based around keeping an eye for a proper riposte headshot and having Shockwave without its damage component as an Ultimate skill. The blunt path is more centered toward crowd control, dealing with bosses and the new Ultimate skill Bell Ringer, deal area damage on headshots.

Blood

This skill tree is about health and axes. You can increase your own max health with Healthy, and become a healing machine with Samaritan and the new skill Bodyguard, allowing you to heal the Noble on kills, with Divine Favor now giving some temporary damage reduction to your teammates, or turn yourself into a human lawnmower with your axes, decreasing your windup as you kill enemies with the new skill Bloodlust.

Tank

Pretty close to the standard tank tree, with a path to free yourself of a shield and still be a decent tank, thanks to Last Chance and Miracle landing here, and another allowing you to specialize in swords. Taunt and your classic tanking skills are still there despite being nerfed slightly. Immortality also landed here.

Support

For now, turned into a completely different skill tree based around beartraps and your ballista. Who never dreamt of having a multishotting Ballista with fire bolts? It might leave you defenseless if the horde gets too close to you however... Well you can increase your repair weapons damage if need be.

Ranger

Your classic Ranger skill tree with a headshot bonus + crit chance bonus accessible to all, but also with a new contender: throwing weapons now have their own skills! And they have Volley too! Who never dreamt on perma-stunning a peasant with rocks using the new Concussion skill?

For map makers

If you want those custom skills to be added to your maps, you can freely ask for the original files to add it all. I am working on a way to allow you to implement the maps without needing to edit it whenever I make a change.

For other modders

If you want to use my custom skill tree as a base for your own skill tree, I will gladly share the files with you as long as I'm still credited in-game in the skill tree menu.
