• UPDATE 8 - This mod will not be rebuilt for U8 unless someone else reaches out to the original author (PeterCashel) to take over maintaining it. Sorry! PeterCashel should be contacted in the main Satisfactory modding channel via @mention and not via direct message per his preferences.

• Update 3.3.0 (Dec 10, 2022)
• Added toggle option to the options menu for displaying / hiding the FICSMAS decorations. If toggled while in a game, will not apply retroactively to already placed Stations and Trains until you Save/Reload.

• Resolves the Load Game crash.

• Known Issues in 3.2.1:
• There is sometimes a white untextured box up behind the wreath on the Freight/Fluid platforms. Investigating.

What is this Mod?

Progressive Trains And Drones lets you to unlock trains and drones at Tier 1 in the HUB, Allowing you to start your factory off with trains and drones. The trains are also upgradable with no rebuilding required! Check the MAM for details on costs and upgrades. Even the recipes and power usage upgrade!

What do you mean, Upgradable Trains?

• Locomotive Speed and Brakes are upgradable. A non-upgraded train has a max speed of 15KMH. Upgraded to max, is over 180KMH. But better Locomotives require more power.
• Freight wagons work the same way. Low initial storage of 9 slots and upgradable to have 72.
• Fluid and Freight stations are also upgradable, from 24 slots to 96 for solid freight, as well as larger fluid cars and fluid freight station storage.

Where do I upgrade?

• After unlocking the milestones in the HUB, the rest of the train upgrades are located in the MAM.
• The price of buying an upgrade is equivalent to building 10 new train parts at the new level (most of the time). However, all of your already placed trains and stations will automatically upgrade when you finish the research in the MAM!

What about Drones?

Cheap Drones are still included. For now, they are not upgradable. I do not currently have plans of upgrading these, but if people express interest in upgraded capacity drones, I might implement them.

• Includes Constructor Recipe to turn Sulphur into Cheap Batteries

Upcoming Plans

• With Beacons eventually being removed, the upgrade recipe that requires them will need to be updated with something else. Still thinking about what is appropriate at that tier.

Known Issues

• UPGRADE - WAGON - Sometimes upgrades don't apply. If this happens to you, please let me know. would like to research it further. Saving/Reloading should always fix it.
• RERAIL - If you derail and then rerail, everything doesn't go back. Investigating.
• VISUAL - WAGON - Multiplayer - Max fluid capacity doesn't update for clients but it still works properly.
• UNINSTALLING - Removing the mod leaves the integrated track sections behind. If possible, remove stations before uninstalling the mod. If this isn't an option, then the Universal Destroyer mod will work to remove the residual track pieces.
