Equipment

Precision saw (Unlocked at tier 5)

With this computer-guided foliage removal system you can cut selected pieces of foliage, instead of deforesting whole area in one swing. It uses petrol, to avoid cutting trees for biomass, and also cuts faster than regular chainsaw. [FixIt.Saw.1.0.4] Also features alternate fire mode, that cuts just like regular chainsaw, so you don't have to carry a separate tool. It's two tools in one, for the price of three! [[FixIt.Saw.1.6.0] Now that single cut mode has been finally implemented in the basic chainsaw, the alternate fire functionality has been disabled. FixIt Chainsaw still provides best speed and uses superior fuel compared to base version.

Chat commands

Note that "foliage" includes bushes, trees, but also weird coral, mushroom trees and rocks - everything that chainsaw or explosives can destroy.

Restore foliage

Type "/sorryHannah" into the player chat, to restore the foliage in small radius around the player (10 meters, slightly bigger than chainsaw AOE). You can also use "/regrow" as a shorthand. The plants are displayed as holographic "ghosts" and will turn into regular foliage items after game save & reload. You can interact with ghosts to remove them again.

There is also a custom-radius version of the command, simply type: "/IReallyReallyWantMyTreesBackPrettyPlease x" where x is the radius in meters. The number of foliage restored in single use is limited to 1000 items for performance reasons.

Check foliage destruction count

Type "/praiseHannah" into player chat, to see total count of destroyed foliage, and The Goddess mood toward you. Or you could use "/foliageStats" to just see the stats without drawing attention.

Preview destroyed foliage

Pray to the Goddess Hannah to grant you a vision of perfect world, by using the command "/HannahVision". Use /foliageDeletions OR /foliageShow to use your built-in VR visualizer instead. The destroyed foliage will appear as red ghosts that persist for 10 seconds. The vision shows removed foliage in 100 meter radius, and a maximum of 1000 objects.

Restore all foliage on map (save reset)

If you beg for forgiveness with "/forgiveMeHannah", The Goddess will restore all foliage on the map to its pristine condition. This will also calm down The Goddess rage. Since such divine interventions are complicated, you will need to save and reload the game, before the foliage starts showing up. Non-believers can use "/resetAllFoliage" for the same effect.

• Plant safe vehicles to avoid destroying plants when driving around.

Known issues

• The foliage restored has wrong size -> Due to how game stores the deleted objects, I only have access to location, but not the actual size of the original objects. They will go back to proper size after game load.
• Sometimes trees don't come back when using "/sorryHannah" OR "/regrow" -> Some large trees have point of origin far away from ground and don't fit into the radius of the command. I have doubled the range of command to 10m, but if it still doesn't work, try the custom radius version with value of 20 or 50. If there is something to be restored, it will pop up.

• Stability update. Custom range regrowth command is now limited to 1000 objects at once. May still crash your game if you go overboard. Note that if you deforested whole map and use it with very long range, you may not see plants popping back up near you, but they got restored... somewhere... outside your viewing range.
