About Powered Splitter and Merger

The Powered Splitter and Merger modification adds a new splitter and merger.
Access to the milestone for this modification is available at Tier 2. The milestone also enables access to the Power Switch, eliminating the need to research it in the MAM.
It is possible to regulate the output side of the splitter using power. In the absence of any power supply, items will solely be dispensed through the red output slot. Conversely, with a power supply, items will exclusively exit through the green output slot.
Likewise, the merger operates in a similar fashion. Without any power source, the merger will only handle itemsfrom the red input side. However, when power is supplied, the merger will exclusively process items from the green input side.
Each power connection for the splitter and merger accepts up to two cables, allowing for daisy chaining of splitter/merger towers. Furthermore, each splitter and merger consumes 2 MW when power is supplied.
