About FroggosDrivingRevamped

From Thunderstore

GTA-style driving chaos: drift, nitro, jump, air control, flip, faster cars. Smash lamp posts, traffic lights, hydrants, fences and people. Vehicle map/compass markers and a phone app to recall your cars.

Froggos Driving Revamped

Drifting, faster cars and GTA-style crashes for Schedule I. Windows IL2CPP, MelonLoader 0.7.3.

Use

  • Drift: while driving, hold Space with throttle and steering. The rear tires gradually lose some sideways grip, so the back end steps out, while a traction assist keeps the slide on a line instead of skating like ice. Let go to grip up again. The game's own tire smoke and screech play during the slide.
  • Nitro: hold Left Shift for a boost. The tank lasts 4 s and refills in 10 s.
  • Air control: when you're airborne, W/S tip the nose down/up and A/D roll left/right, like GTA V.
  • Jump: double-tap Space to pop the car about 2.5 m into the air (needs a wheel on the ground, once a second).
  • Flip / unstuck: press R and the car lifts up, turns upright and drops back down after a second.
  • Vehicle markers: your owned cars and bikes show on the phone map (with their names) and on the compass.
  • Vehicles phone app: open the car-icon app to see all your vehicles and Recall any of them (not if someone's sitting in it). A hologram of the vehicle appears in front of you: look to aim, mouse wheel = closer/further, Q/E = rotate, left click = place, right click = cancel. Cyan = clear, red = blocked.
  • Ram traffic: other cars get shoved and popped up when you hit them.
  • Faster cars: every car (yours and traffic) gets +15% top speed and power.
  • Crash through stuff: hit these hard enough and they fall over, while you keep most of your speed:
  • 10 km/h: mailboxes, benches, rubbish bins, trash cans, crates, cones, post boxes, drums, gas bottles, pallets, wheelchairs, wooden and garden fences, black metal railings, 2 m chain-link fences, road safety barriers, outdoor chairs and tables, shrubs
  • 12 km/h: fire hydrants, lamp posts, payphones, wooden planters, chain-link fence panels, bollards
  • 15 km/h: street lights, traffic lights, curfew sign trailers (VMS boards), dumpsters, vending machines, ATMs, mooring bollards, bus stops
  • Fire hydrants shoot a water jet straight up for 30 s, and the jet lifts anything in it, cars included.
  • People: hit someone at 10+ km/h and they ragdoll and get thrown.

Knocked-over props stay down until the map reloads (sleep or reload the save).

Works with FroggosGTA

Optional. With FroggosGTA (stealing police cars) installed, police cars you steal show up on the map, compass and Vehicles app (marked "stolen") and can be recalled, until FroggosGTA sends them back to the station. Drifting, nitro, jump, air control, flips and smashing props all work in a stolen police car. Cars and people you ram are left to FroggosGTA's own police-car ram code, so hits aren't doubled. FroggosGTA is found at runtime: nothing changes without it.

Higher = more planted. | | MaxSlipAngle | 65 | Largest sideways slide angle while drifting. | | YawDamping | 0.3 | Calms the spin while drifting. | | AirControl | true | WASD air control while airborne. | | AirControlStrength | 8 | How fast air control spins the car up. | | JumpKey | Space | Double-tap this key to jump. | | JumpStrength | 7 | Jump launch speed (m/s); 7 ≈ 2.5 m high, 0 = off. | | FlipKey | R | Flip / unstuck key. | | FlipHeight | 1.5 | How high the flip lifts the car (m). | | NitroKey | LeftShift | Hold for nitro. | | NitroPower | 12 | Nitro push (m/s²). 0 = off. | | NitroSeconds | 4 | Seconds in a full tank. | | NitroRechargeSeconds | 10 | Seconds to refill an empty tank. | | NitroMaxSpeed | 220 | Nitro stops above this speed (km/h). | | CarCrashLaunch | 1.0 | How hard rammed cars get shoved (0 = vanilla). | | MapMarkers | true | Owned vehicles on the phone map. | | CompassMarkers | true | Owned vehicles on the compass. | | RecallRotateLeftKey / RecallRotateRightKey | Q / E | Rotate the recall hologram. | | LogAir | true | Log every jump to the MelonLoader log. | | KnockProps | true | Knock over street furniture and kick loose props. | | KnockSpeedMultiplier | 1.0 | Scales the speed needed to knock props over. | | HydrantSeconds | 30 | How long a broken hydrant sprays. | | KnockPeople | true | People ragdoll when hit. | | PeopleMinSpeed | 10 | km/h needed to knock someone over. | | PeopleLaunch | 0.8 | Share of the car's speed people are thrown with. |

How it works

  • LandVehicle.FixedUpdate postfix: drift grip, handbrake release, yaw assist; also records each car's velocity before the physics step.
  • Wheel.ApplyFriction postfix: keeps the drift grip if the game re-applies friction mid-drift.
  • LandVehicle.Start postfix: scales TopSpeed and the motorTorque curve once per car.
