MoreRealisticLaundering

Summary

MoreRealisticLaundering enhances the in-game money laundering mechanics by introducing more detailed customization and management options for each front business. Dirty cash still sits against each shop’s cap, but clean money can drip into your bank over in-game time, with tax and cartel cuts showing up as real transactions.

This is a full replacement for older 1.2.x builds. Property prices, vehicle prices, and skateboard prices from those versions are gone. Delete old DLLs before installing. Do not run them together.

Installation

1. Install MelonLoader 0.7.3 and S1API first.
2. Download the latest release.
3. Copy the matching DLL into your game’s Mods folder (MoreRealisticLaundering-IL2CPP.dll or MoreRealisticLaundering-Mono.dll).
4. Launch the game, and the mod will automatically initialize after joining your first game.

This mod’s assemblies are MoreRealisticLaundering-Mono.dll and MoreRealisticLaundering-IL2CPP.dll. Pick one for your game build.

Configuration

• The mod generates a configuration file (MoreRealisticLaundering.json) in UserData/MoreRealisticLaundering.
• You can edit this file to customize the default settings for each business; however this is optional as long as you're not using the legit mode.

Features

Legit Mode:

• Use the MoreRealisticLaundering.json to enable Use_Legit_Version and set it to true.
• All settings will be loaded on startup, using the JSONs configuration.
• This might help with compatibility issues with some other mods (try it out).
• No Custom App will be loaded ingame. To stop the seduction to cheat.
• Default value is false for this mode.

Dynamic App Integration:

• Adds a custom Tax & Wash app to the in-game phone, enabling players to manage their businesses directly from the app.
• The app includes Global Settings, Cartel Settings, Notification Settings, and a card for each owned front.

Automatic Business Detection:

• Automatically detects newly owned businesses and adds them to the app for management.
• Ensures that all businesses are processed and updated dynamically.

Customizable Business Settings:

• Allows players to adjust the maximum laundering capacity, laundering time, taxation percentage, and open / close hours for each business (e.g. Laundromat, Taco Ticklers, Car Wash, Post Office).
• These settings can be saved and applied dynamically through an intuitive interface.

Drip Payout:

• With drip on (default), vanilla’s lump-sum payout is blocked. The after-tax net is split across the job and deposited on a timer (default every 60 in-game minutes).
• Capacity stays reserved for the full amount until the job finishes.
• Turn drip off to keep vanilla’s completion payout, then tax and protection are taken as bank debits.

Realistic Taxation System:

• Implements a taxation system that deducts a percentage of laundered money based on the configured tax rate for each business (default 19%).
• Displays notifications for tax deductions and provides detailed logs of transactions.

Improved Laundering Mechanics:

• Adjusts laundering times and capacities dynamically based on the player's configuration.
• Timeline marker and the Amount column on the laundering computer show deposited / remaining as the clock runs. Current total is still the reserved hopper amount.

Peak Hours and Business Hours:

• Peak-hour variance (default on) still pays the same net by the end of the job, but lunch and evening hours get a bigger share than overnight.
• Optional business hours (default off) compress deposits into that front’s open window.

Cartel Wash Jobs:

• Once influence is high enough, Thomas Benzies texts one player the largest wash that fits on one owned front, capped at 85% of that front’s cap (at least Cartel_Request_Min_Amount). He compares every front and picks the highest.
• Only one cartel wash at a time. No new job while one is running, including through death, sleep, and reload.
• If that player denies or the 5 real-minute timeout hits, the same offer is sent to the next player. After everyone passes, it counts as a deny.
