Squad Warzone — Squad as it should be

Do you love team-based combat but always felt that vanilla Squad holds you back in some ways? Unfair faction balance, clunky movement, vehicles that feel like mere props, and scopes that kill your FPS?

Squad Warzone is a mod that rewrites these rules.

Balance

We've reworked nearly 200 layers and the sub-faction system. Now neither side has an unfair advantage. Every battle comes down to your skills, tactics, and teamwork.

Gun Play

The sweet spot between aggressive and positional gameplay. Weapons feel great, recoil is predictable, and shooting is satisfying.

You can push aggressively, but holding a good position is just as effective.

Movement

We've overhauled the movement physics. The character no longer feels like a schoolkid with asthma. Everything works the way you'd expect from a modern shooter.

Vehicles with unique gameplay

Over 15 new and reworked vehicles. Each vehicle now has its own role.

No longer just a "drive me to the objective" — they're true tools for victory.

Limited destruction

You can knock down trees and break fences. The server and client don't suffer from performance issues.

We'll get to partial building destruction in the future — but already, the environment is more than just a backdrop.

Inertial damage from vehicles

Run someone over at speed? They take damage depending on how fast you were going.

Vehicles are dangerous.

Optimized scopes

We've completely reworked all scopes. FPS has skyrocketed, even on older maps and in the thick of battle.

No more slideshows at the most critical moments.
