SENSOR LENSES WITHOUT THE STATIC.
A clean screen, a real symbol for volatiles, and one ore at a time when that is all you are after.

✨ What it does
- 📺 No static. The old TV noise the lenses put over your whole screen is gone. The ore overlay stays. Turn the noise back on in the config if you miss it.
- 🔥 CH4, not X. Volatiles show as CH4 on the overlay, in the same red, on the same cube outline as every other ore.
- ⛏️ One ore at a time. With the lenses on and the ore card in them, step through what the overlay shows: everything, the ices on their own, then each ore on its own. The pick is remembered between sessions.
- 🧊 Ices only. One step shows ice, oxite, volatiles and nitrice together and nothing else. Handy when you are out for water and gas, not metal.
- 📡 T-Ray, twelve ways. With the T-Ray Scanner card in, the same keys step the mode: Cables, Pipes, Chutes, Other. Left Shift steps the view inside it. Cables: painted with pipes, painted, by load. Pipes: painted, by stress, by temperature. Chutes: painted, contents, loose items. Other: plant growth stage, structure convection, structure damage. The lenses window title always says which.
- 🎨 Hold paint to filter. Hold a spray can, the spray gun, the RIS Sprayer, or any modded paint, and only networks painted that colour stay on screen. Add Left Ctrl to see their devices too; on cable networks the devices are coloured by state: green running, orange off, red unpowered.
- 🖱️ Click to isolate. With an empty hand, left click a cable, pipe or chute to keep only its network; click on nothing to let go. Right click steps the mode. Middle click locks what is on screen so the wheel walks through those networks one at a time.
- 🔁 Three ways to step. Z and X, or hold Z and roll the mouse wheel (pick one in the settings), and a button in the lenses window that follows whichever card is in. No card, no button, and the keys do nothing.
- ⌨️ Your keys, your way. All six keys and the stepping mode sit in the game's own Settings, on the Controls page, under Clear Lenses. Rebind them there like any other key.
📦 How to get it
Nothing to craft. Put on Sensor Lenses with an ore sensor unit or a T-Ray Scanner unit in them and switch them on. The keys and the stepping mode are in Settings, Controls, and a short message on screen tells you which pick is active. X is also the game's Smart Stow key. While the Sprayer is in your hand Z and X belong to it; use the window button, Shift, or hold and scroll.
🔗 Where the T-Ray part comes from
The T-Ray modes, the paint filter and the click-to-isolate idea are from Elmotrix's MesonScannerMod. This is a rewrite of that idea inside Clear Lenses, with rebindable keys and the same button and title everywhere. Run one or the other, not both: they draw the same overlay.
