Introduction
I needed a ore requester but also need to save power because powering 10 sorters and stackers are just too much. I also cannot afford a combustion centrifuges at this point of my game. Thus, I put together this codes.
Features
- Request Ores from Silos
- Purge all centrifuges when any is full
- Close all centrifuges once emptied
- Power up and down sorters on demand
- Power up and down stackers on demand
IC10 Logics
- Electric centrifuge has maximum capacity of 400, once any centrifuge reached this, IC10 will purge/open all of them.
- Once all centrifuges reached capacity of 10 or below, IC10 will close all of them. Incomplete reagents are part of the count and there are 10 different ores so at worst case, there will be 9.9~ incomplete reagents.
- While purging, IC10 will also activate all stackers and sorters on a grace timer of 10 ticks which is 5s.
- IC10 will reset this grace timer whenever there is ore within import slot of any sorter so the sorters and stackers will continue to operate until there is nothing left in the chute network.
- Users are recommend to fine tune this grace timer, depending how long it takes for the ore to move from centrifuge to sorter, sorters to sorters and finally sorters to stackers. I am pretty sure 5s is plenty for most use case.
- Once the grace timer expires, all sorters and stackers will shutdown to save power.
- IC10 will monitor the dial amount of ore request, the amount can never exceed what's available in the relevant silo.
Requirements
- Isolated data network for deep miner related structures as this IC10 blanket control all centrifuges, sorters and stackers in that network. You can easily achieve this by using transformer.
- Console display with hash display motherboard
- Configure console to read "IC Housing" for ore display
- d0 for led display, for ore amounts request
- d1 for dial, for ore amounts input. Use screw to set max to 600.
- d2 for dial, for ore type selection. Use screw to set max to 9.
- d3 for button, to submit request for ore.
- Computer to setup sorters, IC10 will not set it up for you, not enough lines to do this.
- Silo naming
- [list]
- SDB Silo (Iron)
- SDB Silo (Copper)
- SDB Silo (Gold)
- SDB Silo (Silicon)
- SDB Silo (Silver)
- SDB Silo (Nickel)
- SDB Silo (Cobalt)
- SDB Silo (Lead)
- SDB Silo (Coal)
- SDB Silo (Uranium)
[*]Stacker naming, for stackers related to silos.
- Stacker

Extra
If you want to see number of available ores in selected silo, you can modify the codes to add a LED display on d4.
Add this under alias
alias oreAmountAvail d4
At around line 66, you will see this
lbn r1 siloHash r4 Quantity
Add this below that line like this
lbn r1 siloHash r4 Quantity
s oreAmountAvail Setting r1
