After entering the Janus system, Ellipso's volatile ice melted giving it a much denser and more volatile atmosphere. Freezing winters, a lack of any ices, no co2 or o2, and scorching summers are all daunting threats.

Starting Conditions:

Slightly modified defaults. Normal: Vulcan lander, with 5x of the switchgrass seeds replaced with 5x darga ferns, the solar panels removed, wind turbines reduced to 1x, an additional solid generator, a portable fuel tank, and fuller portable oxygen tanks. Brutal: Vulcan crate, with 3x of the potato seeds replaced with 5x ferns, the solar panels replaced with a solid generator, and a fuller portable oxygen tank.
