Greenhouse Gas Control

Simple script that I wrote from scratch to control gas levels and pressure inside of the greenhouse.

You need a gas sensor and two pairs of Pressure Regulator and volume pumps.

One pair of volume pump and pressure regulator to introduce CO2 to the room. Pressure regulator is set to 50kPa and to maintain normal operation conditions. Volume pump is set to max and only to operate in case of CO2 levels are too low or room P is too low due to extracting unwanted gases.

Similarly, a pair of back pressure regulator and another volume pump is used to extract gases to the waste line for further filtration. Back pressure regulator is set to 50kPa for normal operations. Volume pump is set to max and only to run in case of high levels of pollutant or volatile are present in the room, or if the pressure is too high in the room.

See the Flowchart in the pictures. The algorithm is simply: 1. Make sure pressure regulators are ON and SET. 2. Check if there is any unwanted gas present and if there is enough CO2. (this works like a token system) 3. If YES, extract them - without letting the Pressure drop below PLow Value. 4. If NO, top off CO2 in the room - without letting the Pressure rise above the PHi Value. 5. When stable, shut the pumps OFF, keep the pressure regulators ON, monitor the room conditions on each tick.
