Insulated Cladding

✨ What it does

• 💨 Airtight. Panels, corners, angles, rounded, spherical, the long pieces, all of them hold atmosphere.
• 🌡️ Insulated. Light does not pass, so the sun no longer heats a clad room and it holds the temperature you set.
• 🧩 Covers other mods. More Cladding included. Nothing is named or listed; it recognises cladding for what it is, so pieces added later are covered too.

💡 Worth knowing

It changes what the cladding you already have does. Clad on the inside of the frame and the seal sits where a wall's would. Clad on the outside and every exposed frame face needs a piece, floors included.

📐 Slopes and corners. A sloped piece fills only half its cell, and you can stand in the other half. That half belongs to whatever the open side faces: the room under a sloped ceiling, the sky on a roof edge. The slope seals the faces its back sits on and nothing else. Rounded, cylindrical and inner pieces work the same way: the faces behind their curve are sealed and you can stand on the open side.

🔀 Airtight and Passthrough. Every piece of cladding, the game's and More Cladding's, panels included, comes in two forms in the same kit. The Airtight form is the original, sealed and insulated by this mod: on a shaped piece the open side is room, you can stand in it, breathe the room's air and stay out of the storm. The Passthrough form is a copy the mod leaves exactly as the game shipped it: it seals nothing, air and light pass, and anyone standing in its cell is outside, weather and all. Use it as plain decoration where sealing is not wanted. The copies are the only things this mod adds.

🧱 Building on faces. This mod is about air and heat only. Which faces of a frame accept a wall, a panel or another piece is unchanged, clad or not.

🔎 Not every piece has been tried one by one. The rules are read off each piece's own shape, not from a list, so a piece nobody has stood in yet may surprise. If an Airtight piece lets air or the storm through, or a Passthrough piece seals, say which one in the comments and it will be looked at.

🧩 Requires

Plugin (code) mod. Install BepInEx with the StationeersLaunchPad plugin first. In multiplayer the server and every player need it.
