*UPDATED* Default perennial list to include strawberries, blueberries, and watermelons. *NEW* Ability to designate stations for LArRE to ignore. *NEW* Control for up to two Linear Rail Doors.
Automated harvesting and replanting of crops using LArRE (Hydroponics).
Basic setup: LArRE (Hydroponics) dock and linear rail stations above hydroponics trays or devices (either work) and an import chute bin. Chute bin can be in between trays. Set pins on IC housing (see configuration below or in code). Adjust variables in code for your specific setup. See code comments for applicable variables.
Optional Setup for Grow Light Control: Daylight sensor on the ceiling and grow lights wherever you want. Uncomment* applicable lines of code and adjust sunlight angle as desired. See code comments.
*NEW* Optional Setup for Linear Rail Door Control: LR Doors wherever you want (max 2). Linear rail stations immediately on both sides of the door. Can be farm plot stations. Adjust applicable door variables to be halfway between the two stations (ex: if door A is between stations 5 & 6, variable rDoorA should be 5.5). Leave variable as 0 if not using door. Uncomment* line 76 if using door A, and line 77 if using door B. Note: door station numbers must be one apart (i.e. -1 and 0 are fine, 84 and 85 are fine, but 61 and 0 are not compatible).
*NEW* Adding Exempt Stations: If you have non-planting stations between the planting stations, such as for an LR door separating your normal greenhouse from your mushroom greyhouse, you can add an exemption in the code. Line 10 shows the example:
put db [station - 1] -1
So, if you need to exempt stations 23 & 45, add the lines:
put db 22 -1
put db 44 -1
Scripts are limited to 128 lines. If you exceed that, it will start deleting the bottom lines. If you need more lines for exemptions and/or perennials, see 'Flashing the IC Housing' below. You only need to add exemptions if the stations fall between the stackStart and the stackEnd.
IC Housing Pins:
- d0 LArRE (Hydroponics)
- d1 Import Chute Bin
- d2 Daylight Sensor (optional)
- d3 LR Door A (optional)
- d4 LR Door B (optional)
- d5 ...I seem to have a spare screw. I'm sure it wasn't needed anywhere. No, I don't need the IKEA instruction manual, I know how to build furniture!
Initial planting by Stationeer is required.
Caution: Since LArRE doesn't want the seeds of perennial (regrowing) plants, ensure such plants do not have seeds to harvest prior to initial activation or re-activation after an extended shutdown period. Default perennial plants include tasty tomatoes, confectionate cocoas, plump pumpkins, succulent strawberries, purple blueberries, and wonderous watermelons. Additional plants can be added to LArRE's NoSeed list. See code comments for instructions.
Does:

Harvesting of crops.
Replanting (if necessary) in same tray.
Grow light control (disabled by default).
Collision detection**.
*NEW* Linear Rail Door control.
Does not:

Fertilize (haven't gotten to it myself).
Expand the farm (only maintains).
Hold back in arm-wrestling (still sore).
Require naming of trays (LArRE can't read; don't mention it, it's a sensitive subject).
LArRE scans through the trays, harvesting the entire crop of a tray that is ready, drops the fruits off into the import chute bin, and then replants the seed. If perennial (tomato, cocoa, pumpkin), LArRE harvests before the seed grows. LArRE then goes back home for a well-deserved, adjustable break (default ~60 seconds). LArRE can theoretically maintain a maximum of 511 trays, however practical limits may vary, depending on grow times, and especially if perennial plants are involved, since their seeds would gum up the works if given time to grow. LArRE's rudimentary collision detection** prevents obstacles from causing errors, merely delays until the obstacles are removed.
Flashing the IC Housing (Only Perform If Necessary):
Context: IC Housings have an internal stack memory. Since this is on the housing, not the chip, it allows us to use some creativity to exceed the normal 128 line limit. I try to avoid this, because checking what's currently on the stack and where is a massive pain in my-
Procedure: [olist]
Put an IC chip in a computer with the IC editor. You probably knew that step; told you anyway.
Write a code that starts with 'clr db', and is then followed by all the 'put db' lines you need for exemptions and perennials. Doesn't matter the order, as long as they're after the clr command. Example:
clr db
put db 22 -1
put db 44 -1
put db 504 HASH["ItemPlantEndothermic_Genepool1"]
Would exempt stations 23 & 45, and add Winterspawn (Alpha Strain) to the NoSeed list.
Export to the chip.
Put the chip in the housing.
Ensure the housing is on.
Remove the chip from the housing. [/olist] That's it, you flashed it. Now you can install the actual code on the chip, but MAKE SURE you comment out or delete line 9:
clr db
Because that command clears the stack memory.
*To uncomment a line of code, delete the '#' at the start of the line.
**Technically location detection, rather than collision detection.Highlights
