The Preset Factory mod adds a large variety of presets to use in your custom worlds for atmosphere, terrain, mineables, and spawn conditions. When it comes to creating fun and interesting challenges, the sky is the limit.

List of Presets: Below, all of the presets in the mod are listed, along with an explanation of what they do.

Atmospheric Composition Presets: Single Gas: These presets are listed by the name of the gas, followed by an ammount in mol. Example: Carbon Dioxide 15 mol would produce an atmosphere with 100% carbon dioxide at a pressure of 15 mol. Comes in 15 mol, 30 mol, 45 mol, 90 mol, 150 mol, 300 mol, 450 mol, 675 mol, and 900 mol variants. Equal Gas Mix: These presets contain an equal mixture of the gases listed in the names, followed by an ammount in mol. Every possible combination of two or more gasses can be found in these presets. Chemical symbols/formulas are used to represent gases so the mixture fits in the dropdown (it still doesn't fit for mixtures of 4-5+ gasses, but it is closer). Comes in 15 mol, 30 mol, 45 mol, 90 mol, 150 mol, 300 mol, 450 mol, 675 mol, and 900 mol variants. Combustable Soup: Exactly what it says on the tin. A 2:1 mix of hydrogen to oxygen. This atmosphere is highly explosive and might not be playable, especialy at high temperatures. Comes in 15 mol, 30 mol, 45 mol, 90 mol, 150 mol, 300 mol, 450 mol, 675 mol, and 900 mol variants. Toxic Greenhouse: A 2:3:1 mix of carbon dioxide to pollutant to nitrous oxide. You do not want to inhale it. Remember, be safe around poison. Comes in 15 mol, 30 mol, 45 mol, 90 mol, 150 mol, 300 mol, 450 mol, 675 mol, and 900 mol variants. Wrong Fuel: A 3:2 mix of hydrogen to nitrogen. This obviously won't combust, but adding oxygen and heat to this mixture is not recomended. Comes in 15 mol, 30 mol, 45 mol, 90 mol, 150 mol, 300 mol, 450 mol, 675 mol, and 900 mol variants.

Terrain Generation Presets: Burrowed: Generates an interesting network of caves which intersect the surface frequently. Burrowed (Hills): A version of the Burrowed preset with hills on the surface. Fragmented: Generates tall, flat islands seperated by deep gourges. Fragmented (Original): The Fragmented preset, reverted to the original form with much deeper gourges than the less extreme revision. Holes: A modified version of the fragmented preset which generates much larger peaks than the fragmented preset, changing the gourges to deep holes scattered around the planet. Rolling Hills: Generates terrain similar to the Moon, but without craters.

Terrain Feature Generation Presets: Very Lightly Cratered: Craters can be found, but they are small, and few and far between. Lightly Cratered: A few craters in a concentration slightly lower than you'd see on the Moon. Moderately Cratered: More craters than the Moon. They are also slightly bigger. Heavily Cratered: Lots and lots of craters. Probaly recieved the natural orbital bombardment treatment. Extinction Craters: The craters can be so massive you may start to wonder if the impacts that created them killed the dinosaurs on this planet. Repeatedly. CRASH WARNING: The game may crash due to the size of these craters. Potholes: They may be small potholes, but there are a lot of them. Roadwork pending. Meteoroid Field: An endless expanse of small meteoroids. Now you can use presets in outer space. Asteroid Field: Standard, moderately sized asteroids. Planetoid Field: The opposit of a meteoroid field. These asteroids are almost large enough to be small dwarf planets. CRASH WARNING: The game may crash due to the size of these planetoids, but they look awesome.

Ore Generation Presets: None: No mineables at all. Resources must be aquired by trading, your only hope if you find yourself somewhere devoid of resources. EZGame: All the ore you could ever need. If you don't enjoy mining, this is the preset for you. All ores are very common, come in sizable veins, and drop a stack of ore per chunk mined. It removes any chance of mining being a grind at all. Preset Name (Small Deposits): A modified version of the preset that makes ore deposits half the default size. Preset Name (Large Deposits): A modified version of the preset that makes ore deposits 1.5 times the default size. Normal (Small/Large Depoists): The default ore generation, in small deposits and large deposits froms only. More Ices: Increases the spawn chance and drop quantities of ice, oxite, volatiles, and nitrice. Good for frozen planets. Goldmine: Gold is much more common and prosperous, but everything else is less than usual. Mainly The Basics: Increases the spawn chance and drop quantities for iron, copper, gold, coal, and silicon. Everything else is harder to find. Ice, oxite, volatiles, and nitrice remain unchanged. (Semi) Realistic Carbon: Everybody knows the ammount of coal/carbon on desolate planets and moons is greatly exagerated for gameplay purposes. What if the ammount of coal was slightly more realistic? Vulcan: Why limit the Vulcan resource overide to just Vulcan when you can copy/paste it into a custom world mineables preset? Vulcan (With Ices): Same as the Vulcan preset, but with the ices added back in and with spawn chance scaled to match the other ores. Few And Far Between: Makes all ores twice as rare and decreases all drop quantities.
