Why use one wall cooler when you could use 5?

Turn on extra wall coolers as necessary to get the job done. If the temperature low 21C only one unit is active. If the temperature goes up more units turn on.

How to make it

You'll need:

  • an IC housing
  • an IC
  • agas sensor
  • 5 wall coolers
  • plenty of cable coil
  • a transformer to isolate the data (optional)

Connect a gas sensor to D0. Then connect wall coolers to D1-D5.

To use less than 5 coolers, wire unused slots to the gas sensor (or script won't run).

To use more than 5 coolers wire the APC to the IC Housing instead of a cooler. Put the coolers behind the APC.

To change the desired temperature change the "setpoint" variable. Remember it's in K.

To make the wall coolers turn on sooner increase the "kp" variable. The default value turns all the coolers on after 1 degree of temperature rise.
