Sorter Whitelist Automation

Sorter handler with automated whitelisting configuration. Supports left and right ejection. Insert items to configure whitelisting.​

Sorting stuff

Setting up say an ore storage, usually means having one sorter for each ore and having to whitelist each sorter for that one specific ore to redirect to your choice of storage. With this script, you can configure up to 6 Sorters per chip. Configure them in the same order you have built your Sorter / Chute system - first Sorter goes on the first pin of the IC housing.

To configure the whitelisting of which item, which Sorter should accept, simply insert the item into the Sorter's input slot. The script will then record the hash of that item, whitelisting it. By default whitelisted items are ejected to the right output (when viewing from the input slot), but you can invert the whitelist output to the left in the script, should you need that setup instead.

Additionally, by default automatic power handling of the Sorters is enabled. After 5 seconds idle time, the Sorter is turned off. This opens support for other chips/scripts handling idle power-down to conserve power, if needed.

Like the whitelist side inversion, this automated power off mode can be disabled in the script and you can also change the number of seconds they should stay on.
