Atmospherics with more than just vanilla gases
Stationeers Gas Framework (referred internally as GasCore) is the shared runtime for json-driven custom gases/liquids. It gives content packs the systems they need to behave like part of the game: thermodynamics, phase changes, reactions, storage, filters, analyzer displays, Stationpedia entries, IC access, persistence, trading, space mining, and multiplayer.
This does not add any gases by itself. The beauty of it is that it needs only a json entry to add new functional gases and reactions.

Features
- Custom gases and liquids
- Condensation, evaporation, freezing, and pure-ice items
- Analyzer badges and filter generation, Stationpedia pages, and IC identities
- New filters are in the new Filter Bender machine. (Saves the pipe bender from hundreds or even thousands of filter entries.)
- JSON-driven reactions
- Optional Chemical Reactor support through the separate Stationeers Chemical Reactor mod
- Custom gas and liquid offers on new 5x5 and 7x7 traders
- Save persistence
- Multiplayer compatible. (In theory. I did not personally set up a server on AMP to check it. Let me know.)
Installation
[olist] [*]Subscribe to this framework and the GasCore content packs you want to use. [*]Enable. [*]On the first launch, accept the prompt that installs or updates the required GasCore preloader. [*]Restart Stationeers. [/olist]
Dedicated servers automatically install or replace the verified embedded patcher, log a restart notice, and stop before loading a world. Restart the server once when that notice appears.
Multiplayer
Different GasCore versions produce a warning and may join when their wire protocol and exact network identity match. All peers still need GasCore and the same effective gas content packs. Chemical Reactor users also need the separate add-on and matching power settings.
Compatible with included patches
- Plants and Nutrition
- Stationeers Methane Combustion Fix
- Beef's Room Defogger (custom gas composition)
Compatible out of the box
- Combustion Machines Rework
- Advanced Chemical Reactor
- IC10 Editor (optional opcode help and constants)
- StationeersLua (optional ic.gas runtime and language help)

Currently the mod does all that I need it to do. No further features are planned aside from fixes.
