Pitfall is a symmetrical King of the Hill map taking place in an abandoned southwest mining facility. It features a large pit under the control point which falls at the end of the round (hence the name pitfall) and is generally a smaller KOTH map comparable to demolition.
SETTING
Both teams have miraculously found mysterious papers showing hidden treasure deep within the mines. Now with this news RED (Ravine Excavation and Demolition) and BLU (Boring League United) have been brought to contest over the control point to obtain the treasure below.
Nobody thought some old coal mine just south of the dam would be home to Australium. Yet, some papers are telling us just that. RED and BLU ought to get down there and secure the crumbling buildings for themselves… just in case.
