Map I made to practice muscle memory.

TO RUN MAP TYPE THIS INTO DEVELOPER CONSOLE: map workshop/626352820

OR

Grab map from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\440\626352820

Place it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\maps

Then go in game and type map tr_sniper_aim in the console.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

If you find that the moving target isn't lighting up when you shoot it, then you need to change your lag compensation commands.

Some commands require changing console settings.

All of these commands are built into map, but you need to enable point_servercommands.

Do this by typing sv_allow_point_servercommand always into the console.

After you shoot one of the interp buttons it will automatically change all the client settings needed.

OR

Do it manually by typing these commands into the developer console:

EDIT: 1 ms is most likely best cl_updaterate 1000 I have no idea how to fix it other than lowering interp. Please feel free to message me and I will adjust the map if you know any other methods to disable interpolation. Thanks!

15.2 MS LERP ( Recommended ) ------------------

cl_updaterate 66 cl_interp 0 cl_interp_ratio 1

IF the target seems jittery and you are uncomfortable then try this:

30.3 MS LERP ( YOU MAY NOTICE POOR HIT DETECTION ON MOVING TARGET ) ------------------

cl_updaterate 66 cl_interp 0 cl_interp_ratio 2

If you feel like trying 1 MS LERP, then try this!

"Lower LERP is better for 0 ping hit registration so why not try 1ms!"

1 MS LERP ( Choppy target movements ) ------------------

cl_updaterate 1000 cl_interp 0 cl_interp_ratio 1
