With each major update, Team Fortress 2 gains new item types and classifications, but older items aren't always updated to reflect those changes. This can happen when a classification is introduced long after an item is released, when older categories like Hat and Miscellaneous are consolidated into Cosmetic, or simply through human error.

This update corrects outdated or incorrect metadata on existing cosmetics, bringing their classifications and other attributes up to date. No new item types have been introduced.

Changes include:

• 258 existing cosmetics have had their item types corrected.
• 137 backpack sound updates. Updated the pickup and drop sounds assigned to cosmetics.
• 30 Pyroland assister attribute additions or updates. Additional pet or mascot items now have the ability to appear as an assist in Pyroland.
• Added `add_jingle_to_footsteps` to the Pestering Jester, allowing it to play its jingle when walking.

388 unique cosmetic items updated in total.
