Sunny state South-West of Canada. Several small civilian towns with minor military presence. Tourist attractions include beaches, hiking and sailing. Recommended for intermediate survivors.

California...a great place to just get away, and un-wind. At-least before this huge outbreak happened! From sunny beaches, to shopping malls, to heavy military units on standby. California is a great map to explore. Just try not to get stuck in the old mining facility over by the mountain!

This map is fundamentally/designed the same way from its original look. Changes of this California map will be listed below! If you like this map, or advise change, please feel free to let me know!

I uploaded a previous map called California 2021, and decided to scrap it and upload a stable/less screwed up version. My previous upload has some missing key adjustments, and issues that needed to be resolved. Down below is the listed adjustments.

Main Points:

- Barriers to block any kind of building by players has been removed. You can now build a base in the hotel, the mall, etc.

- Loot tables have be re-adjusted in terms of how food spawning works. Frying pans, and missing items from the original now spawns on this map!

- The dead zone in Calabasas has been re-worked with to make it quite more worth while to go into! It's still very dangerous though.

- Detonators have been added to the map so horde beacons are a possible thing to do now! Can be found in the dead zone, but is rare to find.

- More cars have been added to some spawning locations like Calabasas, and the shopping mall.

- More ore veins have been added to the hidden-unmarked mine.

- Many more airdrop locations/adjustments have been made to make them more worth to go get.

- Loot spawns have been added to areas that were missing item spawns.

- Map detailing was a bit worked with.

- Nighttime lightning has been re-worked! It is very dark so make sure you have a light source of some kind!

- Different kinds of airdrops has been added to the map.

- Easter eggs of some sorts has been included...

Upcoming Plans:

- Update the mall in terms of swapping out all the closed off areas, with accessible areas. Meaning add new stores, vacant stores, etc.

- Renovate the bank in Callabsas.

- Add npcs.

- Update the mining area.

- Update the west islands.
