Landing Craft

This mod adds a small freighter to the game. Vehicles do not spawn naturally.

Description

A multi-purpose cargo ship capable of carrying various types of storage and vehicles. It is slow and has a slightly deep draft, but it has a wide deck and can transport a lot of goods for its size.

Features

Decks and loading ramps forward of the bridge can support the physical weight of vehicles and items. The ship's buoyancy can support the weight of up to 39 vanilla items, above 39 the ship will slowly start to sink. Be careful when discarding items on the ship.

It is equipped with a loading ramp on the bow, so it is possible to self-propel the vehicle and load it. Vanilla APC is the largest vehicle that can pass through a loading ramp. Although it is assumed that two medium-sized vehicles can be loaded, depending on the size and shape of the vehicle, it may not be possible to secure the vehicle properly. In that case, please adjust the order of loading on the ship and the direction and position of the vehicle little by little.

There are 4 seats, but the 4th seat is in the same position as the driver's seat and is used to adjust the angle of the loading ramp.

Screw propeller, rudder, compass, Door and loading ramp have animations.

Caution

Vehicle transport utilizes the in-game Hook system. Modified cars with unique physics must have their physics adapted to the Hook system. Incorrect vehicle physics will prevent successful completion of transports. Modified vehicles that don't have their own physics based on vanilla vehicles can be transported without issue.

There is a problem with the physics of the car if the following symptoms occur when the Hook system is turned off and the vehicle is released.

• Car jumps up
• A car passes through a ship and is submerged
• The car bounces violently between the ground and the air and becomes uncontrollable

Operation explanation

Right mouse button → Light system on or off Left mouse button → Horn Left Ctrl button → Hook system on or off O key → Door and loading ramp open or close F4 key → Loading ramp angle control (Control by raising and lowering the viewpoint)
