Stranded upon glacier and volcanic rocks, what you thought was salvation turned into an abomination. Fight your way through harsh climates and scarce resources to uncover hidden lies that lay to rest upon the archipelago.

Svalbard is a Norwegian archipelago located far North of Canada. Thanks to improvements in infrastructure over the past few years, they have become much easier to traverse. Survival in the remote terrain of glaciers and frozen tundra is harsh and unforgiving.

Recommended for experienced survivors.

Commonly Asked Questions (and answers) from Testers

- Is there a plan to expand the map or add a safezone?

Not at this time. As I mentioned before, I'll likely allow re-uploads of this map soon, as I won't be spending any more time on it due to other priorities. I'm also interested to see what other users can contribute to Svalbard.

- Will there be custom content added?

No. No custom content will be added for the exception of better foliage I prepared ahead of time. This map will remain a purely vanilla experience. Same thing goes with NPCs.

- Will there be NPCs and questlines?

No. Unless you decide to build upon Svalbard. I find it has potential. However, Okinawa Prefecture is still at number one priority.

Okinawa Prefecture?

Okinawa Prefecture is the main map that I am currently working on! It is a tropical multi-biome archipelago, located south of mainland Japan, holds a captivating blend of traditional and modern skylines. From bustling streets with neon lights to serene temples, visitors can indulge in delicious cuisine, beautiful landscapes, tea ceremonies and traditional festivals.

Recommended for experienced survivors.

Update 1.3.26

- FIXED THE TREES!

- Expanded map borders to allow passage of ships and boats in narrow points on the map. Charts and GPS will not undergo this update.

- New and improved foliage. Let me know in the bug section if some axes/melees were excluded from the .asset files and need to be reviewed.

- Testing is now closed. Thank you to everyone who reported bugs!
