Build from above, from behind, from any angle, as a raven of Odin. Craft The Caw-nstructor, hold it, and press B: your character raises a hand in the Forsaken power gesture and freezes in a spectral trance, while your spirit takes off as a glowing violet raven. That raven is your camera: fly freely around your body, through walls and ground, and place, remove, copy and repair pieces up to 50 m away. Press B again and the spirit flies back into your body.
Features
- The Caw-nstructor: the raven's building hammer, crafted at the workbench. It builds everything the game's hammer builds, with its own model (bog wood, iron, glowing violet runes, a violet crystal and two raven feathers at the pommel), four times the durability and half the stamina per piece placed. Three levels. Only The Caw-nstructor opens the raven flight: with any other tool, B does nothing.
- The trance: the real Forsaken power gesture of the game, frozen at its peak; the power itself is not used and has no cooldown. The bare skin turns spectral and glows, magic sparks swirl out of it and flow back in, an ethereal smoke rises, and a faint violet light falls on the ground and on what is close. Your clothes and armor stay as they are.
- The spirit raven, a free building camera: fly with your movement keys, Space to go up, Ctrl to go down, Shift to go faster; the mouse looks around. Your body stays where it stands and does not move.
- Build from the raven: everything within 50 m of your body can be placed, removed, copied and repaired, wherever the raven is. The game's rules still apply: your body must be within a workbench's range, wards and no-build zones are respected.
- Through everything: the spirit raven passes through ground, water, walls and objects, to look under a floor, between two beams or inside a house (can be turned off).
- Resources at your feet: pieces removed from the raven drop their resources at your body's feet, instead of 50 m away. The game itself still decides what comes back.
- The spotlight: in raven flight, F lights a spotlight shaped like the Dvergr circlet's beam, in the warm color of the game's torches. Its reach follows what you look at. Color, brightness, reach and width can be set. Only you see it.
- Photo mode: in raven flight, P makes the raven hover where it is and shows it to you, as the other players see it. The mouse turns around it, the wheel brings it closer or farther, the HUD hides itself, and left click saves the picture (without the little reminder at the top of the screen).
- Its own sounds: a mystic aura rising into the raven view, and a soft flurry of feathers when the spirit returns. Calm, never in your face, even the fifteenth time. The Forsaken power flash keeps its light but not its sound during a trance.
- Seen by the others: players who have the mod see your spectral body, the spirit raven leaving your head, flying where you fly and diving back in, and hear the trance sounds around you.
- Torches stay lit: the game turns off lights far from your character; around the raven, torches, fires and braziers stay lit.
- Safe: a hit on your body, the pause menu or putting The Caw-nstructor away brings the spirit back. While you fly, your Forsaken power waits.
- A discreet reminder of the keys at the top of the screen, with your distance from your body (for example
23 / 50 m). Hidden with the HUD (Ctrl+F3).
