Logical Experience

All Skills now get the appropriate amount of experience.

Features

• all experience gain is balanced now, buffed in logical ways (e.g. crossbows, dodging, riding, cooking, crafting,...)
• all kills grant XP (this was done so combat grants more xp than training)
• kill XP contributes to the skill which kills (e.g. sword kills grants sword xp)
• XP overflow is granted not dropped (no XP is lost on level up like in vanilla)
• kill XP floating numbers (client-side, can see the +xp numbers float when you kill an enemy, very cool if you want to know how much each kill is worth xp)
• all XP log (client-side, can use this if you want to see all the minor XP gains that you get, very spammy and recommended for testing purposes only)

Installation

Install on both the server and every client.

With Manager - install with Gale, r2modman, or Thunderstore Mod Manager (BepInEx is pulled in automatically since it's marked as a dependancy)

Manual - drop LogicalExperience.dll into BepInEx/plugins

Configuration

Local - after first launch, the config is at: BepInEx/config/devon752.LogicalExperience.cfg

Server - on a dedicated server, edit the server's file (Clients receive those values automatically)

Configs - Everything listed here can only be toggled on or off

1 - General

• Lock configuration - locks the "Skills" configuration settings serverwide
• Show kill xp popups - client-side setting that can enable or disable the on-kill XP floating text
• Show top left xp log - client-side setting that can enable or disable the XP log on the top left (very clunky and spamming, recommended only for testing)

2 - Skills

• Ride - Vanilla x2
• Swim - Vanilla x2
• Jump - Weight bonus: extra XP depending on filled carry weight (capped +3 XP at 1000 weight)
• Dodge - Vanilla x10
• Block - Vanilla ×1.5
• Crossbows - Vanilla ×2 + 1xp flat after reloading
• Sneak backstab - Backstab bonus: 3xp flat with a successful backstab with any weapon
• Blood magic - Casting bonus: 3xp flat when using blood magic Staves
• Staff of embers burn - + 0.1xp per second on burning targets (this was made as compensation because ignite cannot receive XP from kills)
• Crafting - Vanilla x4 + station bonus: Workbench +1, Forge/Artisan +2, Black forge/Galdr table +3
• Cooking - Vanilla x4 + station bonus: Cauldron/Food preparation table +1, Mead ketill +5
• Farming - Vanilla x2
• Fishing - Fish bonus: Perch/Pike +1, Trollfish +1.25,... (quality multiplies)
• Wood cutting - Tree bonuses: Beech: +0xp, Fir: +0.5xp, Birch/Pine: +1xp, Oak: +1.5xp, Ancient: +2xp, Yggdrasil/Scorched: +3xp
• Pickaxes - Tool bonuses: Antler +0xp, Bronze +1xp, Iron +2xp, Black metal +3xp
• Kill bonus - enables the bonus XP from kills (all monsters/bosses have different XP amounts that they give)
